Manchester Rum Festival had its original date of this years festival scheduled for April 4th 2020, but due to the outbreak and subsequent lock-down of the UK, i decided to postpone and move the festival to a new date of August 29th 2020.

Unfortunately, since the ease of lock-down on August 4th, i personally feel that large crowd gathering’s and social distancing will not offer the experience i wish Manchester Rum Festival to have for you all, and the safety for both attendees and the festival exhibitors can not be guaranteed.

It’s with this that i regret to inform you that Manchester Rum Festival will be postponed once again and will not run at all during 2020.

A new date has been confirmed as Saturday 17th April 2021, 12-7pm at Viadux MCR. Any current ticket holders will automatically be valid for this new date, but i understand that this may not work for everyone. With this i am offering refunds to anyone where required until September 30th 2020. If you wish to have such, please contact me directly via the contact form . Please note that any refund requests after September 30th will not be honoured.

I’m heartbroken to have to postpone again, but rest assure this is not a cancellation, Manchester Rum Festival will be going ahead in 2021 and i’m sure will be welcomed in open arms once the current pandemic is controlled.

Stay safe.
